Police Beat 11/16 to 11/23

 

On Monday, Nov. 16 at 9:17 a.m., a 27 year old was arrested for extortion and blackmail.

On Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 11:30 a.m., university police were brought to Browning Residence Hall after the smell of marijuana was reported outside the building.

On Thursday, Nov. 19 at 7:50 p.m., a report was filed for suspicious activity at the rear of Adams Residence Hall near the basketball courts.

On Friday, Nov. 20 at 8:35 p.m., a motor vehicle stop on Butterfield Road in front of Heathman Residence Hall led to the arrest of a 22 year old for driving on a suspended or revoked license.

On Friday, Nov. 20 at 11:09 p.m., an 18 year old was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Butterfield Road in front of Heathman Residence Hall. The 18 year old was charged with overloading of the vehicle and the underage possession of alcohol.

On Saturday, Nov. 21 at 1:02 a.m., a motor vehicle stop at Plains and Flagg Road led to the arrest of a 21 year old for illegally backing up and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

On Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2:25 a.m., a 19 year old was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Fortin Road at the Dunkin’ Donuts. The first-time offender was charged with a DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration of .15 or greater.

On Monday, Nov. 23 at 12:16 a.m., a report was filed for a drug offense in Fayerweather Residence Hall, on Complex Road.
