Police Beat 2/7 – 2/14

 

On Sunday, Feb. 7,  at 12:41 a.m., a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot in front of Peck Residence Hall led to a citation being issued for a 19-year-old for the underage possession of alcohol.

On Sunday, Feb. 7, at 2:28 a.m., a report was filed for a disturbance in Hillside Residence Hall, on Campus Avenue.

On Sunday, Feb. 7, at 9:17 p.m., at motor vehicle stop in front of the Fascitelli Fitness and Wellness Center on Butterfield Road led to the arrest of a 19-year-old who was charged with the underage possession of alcohol.

On Sunday, Feb. 7, at 10:37 p.m., a 19-year-old was arrested for the underage possession of alcohol following a motor vehicle stop in the Keaney Parking lot near Boss Ice Arena.

On Monday, Feb. 8, at 7:22 p.m., a report was filed for a weapons violation in Burnside Residence Hall, on West Alumni Avenue.

On Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 11:37 p.m., university police were notified of a disturbance in Heathman Residence Hall on Butterfield Road, but the person in question was gone on arrival.

On Friday, Feb. 12, at 12:26 a.m., peace was restored following the report of a disturbance in Eddy Residence Hall, on Complex Road.

On Friday, Feb 12, at 1:32 a.m., an 18-year-old was arrested for the underage possession of alcohol following a motor vehicle stop on Complex Road.

On Saturday, Feb. 13, at 1:12 a.m., a report of suspicious activity in Eddy Residence Hall, on Complex Road, led to the arrest of three people. A 19-year-old and 20-year-old were arrested on the charges of underage possession of alcohol, while another 19-year-old was charged with willful trespassing.

On Saturday, Feb. 13, at 2:38 p.m., an 18-year-old was arrested in Tucker Residence Hall, on Farmhouse Road, and charged with interference with a fire alarm apparatus, larceny with a damage of $1,500, vandalism and malicious injury to property.

On Sunday, Feb. 14, at 1:52 a.m., a motor vehicle stop on Flagg Road revealed a 20-year-old was in the possession alcohol, but there were not any arrests made nor citations given.

On Sunday, Feb. 14, at 2:12 a.m., a report of a disturbance in Hillside Residence Hall on Campus Avenue resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old. The 18-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct, simple assault/battery, vandalism and malicious injury to property.
