The Harrington School of Communication and Media celebrated the opening of the newly renovated Harrington Hub in Ranger Hall on Friday. The $6.3 million dollar renovations began last fall and brings state of the art equipment to students here on campus. The new facility comes fully equipped with new editing suites, a screening room, a recording studio and an audio editing suite. The opening of the new Hub attracted over 400 guests, from students and faculty to big names like award winning journalist Meredith Vieira and Dick Harrington. Many attendants of the event said they are excited not only for students, but for the future of communication and media as well.
