Student Senate report: 10/15

The Student Senate voted to recognize NESA as an unfunded student organization. This club says they meet twice a week to help members practice for competitions. The competitions are once a year and they include colleges from the north east region. They have won this competition once, two years ago. The group currently has 32 members. Senate voted to recognize organization was recognized with only 1 abstention.

A bill to revise article two of the Senate Bylaws was also voted on. The revision was meant to change the wording of what they do and why they do it. The vote was a unanimous “yes.”

There are on campus interviews taking place for a new director of dining services. There are five different dates for the interviews.

A public forum with parking services will be held in the near future for students to ask questions.
