Take that special someone out for a lovely evening this weekend in support of local theater. In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, The Contemporary Theater Company (CTC) will be hosting the 3rd Annual Contemporary Theater Chorus Program Benefit “Love Songs Concert”  at the CTC in Wakefield, this Sunday, Feb. 11.

The concert, as suggested by its title, will feature love songs of “all varieties and genres” performed by many local singers from all across Rhode Island, including University of Rhode Island Alumni Sean Marran ’16.

Admission to the benefit concert is $10 per person and tickets can be purchased at the door or online at http://contemporarytheatercompany.com through their ‘box office’ page. The CTC is located at 327 Main Street, South Kingstown, RI, behind Phil’s Main Street Grill.

Following this weekend’s benefit concert the CTC will be preparing for their show “Candide,” on Feb. 16 and 23.
