Positives:

Negatives:

Players of the Week:

Billy Walthouse (won Georgetown Intercollegiate) – This event took place last Tuesday and was their last of the fall season, but Walthouse was just named Atlantic 10 Co-Golfer of the Week for the third time this season.

Mike Casey (2-1 win at La Salle) – Scoring a winning goal is huge, but one in the waning minutes of the game is even better. The goal also saved a win against a vastly inferior team.

Audrey Castro (3-2 win at George Washington, 3-1 win at George Mason) – Castro led the team with 33 kills over the two matches this weekend, besting stud teammate Franki Darnold, and helping the team keep their win streak alive

Team of the Week: URI women’s volleyball (wins at George Washington and George Mason) – The Rams won their third and fourth straight games.

Off the Record:  After posting two more sacks on Sunday against the Jets, the Patriots now have 19 sacks through just six games. In 2014, the Patriots posted just 40 sacks and finished tied for 13th in the NFL. This season they are on pace for 51 sacks, and currently sit fourth in the NFL behind the Broncos, Packers and Rams respectively.
