The University of Rhode Island began the semester by unveiling the new chemistry building on campus. Richard E. Beaupre spoke during the ribbon cutting ceremony. “This is the greatest honor I’ve ever had in my life,” said Beaupre. The new $68 million dollar facility is designed to be safer for students conducting experiments in the laboratories.
