University of Rhode Island student Selena Evora said that her laptop (pictured right) demonstrates her participation in the Feminist Sticker Club.
“It’s $3.99 per month and they send feminist stickers from artists every month- local and national,” Evora said.
Other stickers on her laptop are representative of Evora’s trip to Tanzania.
“The ‘Hakuna Matata’ sticker and the Tanzania sticker are both from when I went to Tanzania,” Evora said. “When I was there, the people
always said ‘hakuna matata,’ which happens to actually mean more than being just in ‘The Lion King’; it’s Swahili for ‘no worries.’”
