The students who tested positive are in isolation and the other members are quarantining. Quarantines last for 14 days, which is the typical incubation period for the virus, and isolations last for at least 10 days and until symptoms
According to the University’s latest statement, these students have the option to quarantine in either their sorority or fraternity houses within their bedrooms or return home. URI and The Rhode Island Department of Health are working together to conduct contact tracing and there are currently no plans to shut down URI Greek housing.
