Men’s Track and Field:

Women’s Track and Field:

Rhode Island’s women’s track and field team fared a bit better than the men at the Brown Invitational. The Rams placed fourth of the 10 competing teams with 67 points. Both throwers finished top five in the weight throw, with two Intercollegiate Association of Amateur Athletes of America qualifying efforts. Wood also placed first in the shot put with a 45’5” toss, another IC4A qualifying performance. For more on the meet, visit Peter Gigliotti’s article (page 7, rhodycigar.com).
