Two separate instances of alcohol violation occurred on campus this past week, both on Saturday. During the first instance, on Kingstown Road, officers arrived on the scene at 5:50 p.m. and cleared the scene at 6:23 p.m. The second instance occurred on Butterfield Road. Officers arrived on the scene at 8:57 p.m. and cleared the scene by 9:03 p.m. Both cases were concluded to be possession of alcohol by a minor and the cases were referred to student conduct.
Three motor vehicle accidents happened on Flagg Road on Oct. 15, all within three hours of each other. The first accident happened at the entrance to lot seven at 12:01 p.m., which took the police about five minutes to clear. The second accident happened at 1:08 p.m. and the scene was cleared over an hour later at 2:27 p.m. The final accident occurred an hour later at 3:32 p.m. This scene was not cleared until nearly three hours later at 6:23 p.m.
A case of disturbance occurred on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Two officers arrived at the scene on Flagg Road at 10:52 p.m. The case was investigated and concluded to be vandalism to a door, officers cleared the scene by 11:10 p.m.
A motor vehicle stop required five officers on Saturday evening. The first officer arrived at the scene on Butterfield Road at 8:35 p.m., followed by three more officers in the following 30 minutes. Over an hour later, at 9:45 p.m., the final officer arrived, and the scene was cleared at 9:51 p.m. The vehicle stop resulted in a citation or warning issued, with no arrests.
