Two arrests were made on Saturday night at the University of Rhode Island after a disturbance call was made to Fraternity Circle.
Two male URI students, a 19-year-old and a 21-year-old, were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct. Three officers initially arrived at the scene at 10:19 p.m., with two more officers arriving over the following hour. The scene was officially cleared at 1:08 a.m. The case is currently ongoing, with the two men being released and formally charged.
Another disturbance was called in on Sunday night at the Tootel Complex. Three officers were dispatched and arrived at the scene at 11:23 p.m., with the scene not being cleared until 12:04 a.m. the following morning. No arrests were made.
A woman’s car was damaged at the Boss Ice Arena on Keaney Road on Sunday, Feb. 2, after leaving a swim meet. Security cameras were checked on Monday, Feb. 3, which found one car leaving the parking lot on the same side as the victim’s car around 10:50 p.m., according to responding officer Justine Dubois. No plate numbers or any conclusive evidence was found.
An erratic driver was reported on Plains Road on Thursday, Feb. 6, at 10:49 p.m. The driver was let off with a verbal warning and no report filed.
An incident of larceny occurred on Friday, at Dorr Hall on Complex Road. A report was filed, however no found property was reported since the incident. Later that day, an incident of trespassing was reported at Chaffey Hall between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
