Men’s Basketball

FINAL: URI 71-74 Fordham

FINAL: URI 79-77 Loyola Chicago

URI’s struggles continued as they lost their sixth-straight contest in a close loss to Fordham in the Bronx, NY on Saturday, followed by their first road win in over a year vs. Loyola Chicago. For more on the games, see Aidan Garvey’s recap. (page 11)

Women’s Basketball

FINAL: URI 81-57 Dayton

The Rams finished their regular season on a high note with a win over Dayton to claim their first-ever A-10 conference regular season title. Zack Petrick has the story for us. (page 12)

Track and Field – Atlantic-10 Championship

For the last time in history, URI hosted the A-10 Championship. The men’s team placed first out of 10 teams, winning their third consecutive indoor championship, while the women finished sixth out of 14. Justin Theriault has more on the story. (page 12)
