Fireworks were located in the ceiling of Boss Ice Area on Friday night. The fireworks were identified by University of Rhode Island police as M80s, an explosive that was federally banned in 1966 according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

The explosives were located at 10:09 p.m. on Friday and the scene was cleared by officers by 10:42 p.m. The incident was investigated and the student responsible was apprehended, handed over to student conduct and the fireworks were confiscated.

Suspicious activity was reported on Monday, March 31 at Chaffee Hall on Flagg Road at 2:22 p.m. The incident was investigated by URI police and found to be an isolated incident of suspicious mail.

A disturbance was reported on Saturday night at Coddington Hall. After arriving on the scene at 9:05 p.m., officers identified the incident as a verbal domestic dispute. The scene was secured and cleared at 9:32 p.m. with an investigation remaining ongoing.

A fire alarm sounded at Gorham Hall on Sunday morning. It was concluded that the alarm was intentionally pulled after officers arrived at the scene at 11:11 a.m. The scene was cleared by 11:28 a.m.
