Police Beat: 9/24 to 9/27

 

On Thursday, Sept. 24 at 12:26 a.m., a routine motor vehicle stop in the parking lot near Hillside Residence Hall led to the arrest of a 23-year-old person. The 23-year-old pwas charged with possession of marijuana and had their license suspended and revoked.

On Friday, Sept. 25 at 12:45 a.m., a 21-year-old person was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Upper College Road outside of the Fine Arts Center after refusing to give the arresting officer their license. The person’s license has since been suspended and revoked.

On Friday, Sept. 25 at 10:29 p.m., a report was filed for suspicious activity in the woods near the Chi Phi Fraternity House.

On Friday, Sept. 25 at 11:15 p.m., a notification of suspicious activity on the quadrangle brought the University Police to Ranger Road where two suspects, an 18-year-old person and a 19-year-old person, were found in the possession of alcohol. While a report was filed about the incident, no arrests were made.

On Saturday, Sept. 26 at 12:34 a.m., a 19-year-old person was arrested on Flagg Road by the Center for Biotechnology and Life Sciences for the possession of alcohol by an underage person during a motor vehicle stop.

On Saturday, Sept. 26 at 8:09 p.m., a report was filed for an assault that took place at Weldin Residence Hall on Campus Avenue.

On Sunday, Sept. 27 at 1:19 a.m., a notification led the University Police to Butterfield Road where an 18-year-old person was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
