Police Beat: 10/4 – 10/9

Wednesday, Oct. 4

At 7:09 p.m. there was an animal complaint on Lippitt Road. There was an injured bird and assistance was rendered.

At 2:08 p.m. there was a medical emergency on Lower College Road. Transportation to the hospital was necessary.

At 4:20 p.m. a motor vehicle accident took place on Flagg Road. A report was filed.

Thursday, Oct. 5

At 11:33 a.m. there was a medical emergency on Tootell Road. Transportation to the hospital was rendered.

Friday, Oct. 6

At 6:23 a.m. a fire alarm went off on Campus Ave in Green Hall. A general notification was rendered.

At 7:02 a.m. there was a maintenance assist on Keaney Road. Assistance was provided.

Saturday, Oct. 7

At 1:54 a.m. there was an open door/window in Roosevelt Hall. The building was checked by the campus police and secured.

Sunday, Oct.8

At 2:14 a.m. there was car fire on Route-138 and Ministerial Road. The flames were extinguished and there were no reported injuries.

At 8:09 p.m. there was a drug offense called in at Fayerweather Hall on Complex Road. A bong was found, and a report was filed.

At 9:05 p.m. there was a weapons violation in Fayerweather Hall. A BB gun was found; a report was then filed.

At 9:47 p.m. another drug offense was reported at Fayerweather Hall. A bowl was found; a report was filed.

Monday, Oct. 9

At 7:05 p.m. there was a suspicious person at Bressler Hall on Campus Avenue. The man was reportedly on meds as well as consuming alcohol. He was banging on residents doors until the RA had to interject. A call was placed to campus police after there was worry for the safety of residents.

At 9:13 p.m. on the Eddy and Keaney area, there was a reported disturbance. There was a fight, however, they were gone on arrival.
