An arrest was made on Butterfield Road on Monday, Oct. 7, after a response to an assist citizen call. Police arrived on the scene at 4:30 a.m. The call resulted in a transportation to the hospital as well as an arrest on four charges, including arson, assault, disorderly conduct and vandalism. The scene was cleared by 6:41 a.m.
34 motor vehicle stops and six motor vehicle accidents occurred this past week. On Wednesday, Oct. 9, two motor vehicle accidents happened within an hour of each other. The first accident occurred on Plains Road at 11:04 a.m., and the scene was cleared by 11:25 a.m. The second accident occurred on West Independence Way at 11:50 a.m., and the scene was cleared 50 minutes later.
That same day, an instance of theft was reported on Keaney Road. Police were notified at 10 a.m. and cleared the scene by 10:28 a.m. A report was filed.
A well being check was issued on Sunday, Oct. 6, at Faculty Circle that required police assistance. Officers arrived at 12:57 p.m. and cleared the scene almost an hour later at 1:51 p.m.
On Friday, Oct. 11, an incident of vandalism occurred on Butterfield Road.
