This past weekend, the URI Musicians Guild, in partnership with the URI Young Democratic Socialists of America, hosted a punk concert in the Memorial Union. The concert featured local bands Kudzu, Pocket Rocket and Film & Gender. The concert raised about $1,000 for various YDSA causes and projects, including supplying reproductive healthcare products and other community causes according to Matt Miller, a YDSA board member and member of the Musicians Guild.
