The University of Rhode Island Police Department responded to 16 medical emergencies this week, all of which resulted in hospital transportation.
Of the 16 medical emergencies, one was on Feb. 24, two on Feb. 25, three on Feb. 26, six on Feb. 27, two on Feb. 28 and two on March 1.
On Feb. 5, there was a drug offense filed.
On Feb. 26, there was a harassment report filed. The same day, in Wiley Hall, there was a disturbance reported that had three dispatchers on the scene.
On Feb. 27, there was a motor vehicle accident on Keaney Road.
On Feb. 28, there was a well-being check in Hillside Residence Hall.
There was an unfounded disturbance report on March 1.
The blue light system was used four times, with only one requiring support on March 1 on Campus Ave.
There were 10 motor vehicle stops, all resulting in a verbal warning on Route 138, Upper College Road, Briar Lane, Lower College Road, Campus Ave, Butterfield Road, Complex Road and Plains Road.
